We have set a date for the Charity ride for The Make A Wish Foundation. It will be on May 24th 2008 at Busco Beach. I have contacted Jack Bennett and confirmed that the date is available. We are all set to get this Event set up. We will need all Club Members to participate to make this Event a Success. Anyone wanting to help can contact 1 of the Officers to get information as to what needs to be done. We are still working on the details of what all we are going to be doing, so if you have any suggestions feel free to post them. Information will be posted as things are set in place.

TO ALL MEMBERS !!!
First of all, I was very surprised to hear a suggestion on our charity ride to be for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Some of you already know, and some of you may not know, that our daughter, Casey has Cerebral Palsy, and Scoliosis. Cerebral Palsy is brain damage. The part of the damageD, is the part that controls her muscles. She has had multiple surgery's since birth. We now are up to 14 surgery's and procedures. We are very lucky to have Casey still with us today. I am very proud of her. Anyway, Casey was referred to the Make a wish from a health Care Coordinator. She then was approved with the doctors application process. Casey was granted a wish in Nov. 07. Her wish was to attend the American Music Awards. The trip was a success. The foundation provided all expenses and travel arrangements and agenda on the Wish Day. It truly is allot of work, expense, time, effort, and totally amazing. There are so many other children worse than Casey's situation. I am very honored and proud to be able to be apart of this fundraiser. I'm actually touched to my heart to be able to give back what they did for her and my family. I hope we will have a great turn out. We will need allot of help and lots of planning. I want to take this time, to say THANK YOU MEMBERS for welcoming Casey into the club as a normal child. You play with her, You include her, you make her feel great about herself. I'm very thankful to have club members as great as all of you have been to her. Thanks for all the help at meetings, rides, and for being patient when we take the extra time getting her ready to ride the ATV. You all wait on us.. until we are ready.. THANK YOU ALL.... SUCH A GREAT GROUP TO RIDE AND HAVE A BLAST WITH..!!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! You guys are the greatest!!!
Charles, Tonya, Casey, & Dennis

To all this is Mark I have posted the Make a wish ride on my billboard on interstate I-85 and I-40 at the Huffmanmill road exit so look for it. On the board it states for more info see www.patva.com so some one needs to post a write up about the event and pricing so people can see it. the board is electronic so when you go it will take a minute to come up to our sight.

Everything is coming together Great for the Charity ride at Busco Beach. I myself am excited and hope everybody feels the same way. Jack Bennett, owner of Busco Beach, is allowing us to use the Mud Pits that they have built for the Mudders Mag Mud Bog. There is a 60X200 ft. straight pit, and there is also an oval pit for racing. The 50-150 cc class will be held in a smaller pit. I believe everybody involved will have a good time whether they are working the mud bog or they are going to enter it. The Poker Run has also been finalized and we have plenty of Volunteers to help out with that also. We will have 5 stations set up at various points that all who register to join in will have to ride the whole park to get each card of theyre hand. The Show-n-Shine will start off the day. It will be set up near the Registration tent, providing there is room. I would like to Thank Everybody who has helped get this Charity ride set up. I would also like to Thank everybody that is volunteering to help out. It has been alot of work and I believe it is going to be a Great success. I would also like to Thank Jack Bennett and Busco Beach for allowing us to have the Charity Ride at Busco Beach. THANK YOU ALL!!! John
